Accessibility statement

We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard, zooming a long way in, or who’d rather things didn’t move. We aim at WCAG 2.2 level AA.

We haven’t had the site independently audited, and nobody has tested it with real assistive technology. So we won’t claim it’s perfect — only that we care whether it works for you, and that we take it seriously when it doesn’t.

Telling us we’ve got it wrong

If something here is hard or impossible to use, we want to know, and we’d rather hear it bluntly than not at all. Email info@pistonandplume.co.uk with what you were trying to do and what happened. We’ll reply, and if we can fix it we will.

If you need anything on this site in another format to be able to use it, just ask. That’s a reasonable request and we’ll sort it out.

If we don’t put it right

The regulations that require a statement apply to public sector bodies rather than a private company like ours. We publish one anyway. If you raise something and aren’t happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
